Client Overview
A company that makes large industrial bags for industries like farming, medicine, textiles, and construction wanted to beef up its cybersecurity. With a lot of experience and locations across India, they noticed more security threats and decided to invest fully in in-house VAPT Services to protect their IT systems and digital assets.
Client Requirement
The client needed a thorough Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) of their entire infrastructure. This included manual VAPT Testing assessments at different physical locations. They aimed to find and fix vulnerabilities in their networks, endpoints, web applications, and servers, as well as check the physical security of their data centers. The goal was to ensure robust cybersecurity and prepare for an official VAPT Certification.
Solution Delivered
To address the client’s complex requirements, a six-phase VAPT in Cyber Security approach:
Phase 1: Network VAPT
We ran a complete VAPT Audit on all network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls. We found vulnerabilities by scanning and manual testing, ranked them by severity, and wrote up plans to fix them.
Phase 2: Security Assessment Audit
Next, we did a security assessment audit on antivirus solutions, email gateways, and firewall setups. This helped us check how well the client’s security measures were working and gave ideas for improvements to stop cyber threats.
Phase 3: Secure Configuration Review
Then, we reviewed the servers and switches in all operational areas to make sure they had secure settings. This was all about cutting down risks from misconfigurations and unauthorized access.
Phase 4: Web Application VAPT
After that, we focused on a key web app used by one of the client’s major facilities. It went through a detailed VAPT Testing, where we found issues like injection flaws and broken authentication. We fixed these and provided solid recommendations to boost the app’s security.
Phase 5: Remediation & Final Report
Once the tests and audits were done, we helped with the fixes. We put together a final report that outlined the vulnerabilities we found, what steps were taken to address them, and any remaining risks. This report was important for the client’s VAPT Certification.
Phase 6: Physical Audit
Finally, we did a physical audit of server rooms at different facilities. We suggested ways to improve physical security, including better access control, environmental protections, and surveillance systems.
Results & Benefits
The client successfully achieved:
- Strengthened cybersecurity infrastructure
- Identification and mitigation of critical vulnerabilities
- Improved network and endpoint security posture
- Compliance with internal and industry-standard security policies
- Confidence to move forward with digital transformation initiatives securely
Our team executed the project with minimal operational disruption, delivering scalable VAPT Services aligned with the client’s long-term business strategy. As a VAPT companies in India, we made sure our solution was scalable and fit well with the client’s business goals.
We managed to keep the VAPT Certification Cost within budget without skimping on quality, so it turned out to be a smart and cost-effective security choice.
Conclusion
In conclusion, this project shows how important it is to take a practical and organized approach to Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing. Thanks to our proactive VAPT services, the client now has a stronger and safer infrastructure, protecting their digital and physical assets from potential cyber threats.
By managing the VAPT Testing Cost effectively and prioritizing both digital and physical security, we delivered a cost-effective, high-impact solution that positions the client securely for the future.
